Transfer Students

Current high school students transferring to WHS who want to play sports MUST do the following to be eligible to participate: 

Enroll at CVUSD – Westlake High School (required to tryout/practice) - For information about enrolling at Westlake High School, please visit the CVUSD website.

Complete Athletic Clearance (required to tryout/practice) - For information/instructions for Athletic Clearance, please see our Athletic Clearance page on this website.

Complete CIF Transfer Clearance (required to compete with team) - For more information regarding CIF Transfer Clearance, visit the CIF-SS website and review the CIF Blue Book.  Transfer guidelines are discussed in the “Eligibility Requirements” section beginning on page 68.  Click on the link below to download and print the official CIF Transfer Form.  If you are transferring due to a valid change of residency (your family has recently moved into a new attendance area), you will also need to download the CIF Valid Change of Residence Checklist.

*The CIF Transfer Form must be submitted to Carnell Henderson, AP of Athletics at chenderson@conejousd.org ASAP after enrollment at WHS.
